Review: Hudson River School artists connected with nature -- and works' observers

Grand and glorious paintings of the Hudson River School have been installed at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. These landscapes from the collection of the New York Historical Society are a fitting exhibition for the Carter's 50th anniversary year, as America's relationship with the land is a thread that can be discerned in the development of the Carter's collection.
